SVINKLØV BADEHOTEL

In 2024, I had the great joy and honor of exhibiting my work at the beautiful and historic Svinkløv Badehotel – Denmark’s oldest seaside hotel, located right by the wild North Sea. This place holds a special meaning for me, and its unique atmosphere of calm and quiet poetry made the experience unforgettable.

My exhibition was shown in the charming Rosa Stue (The Pink Room), where I aimed to reflect the soft rose notes of the space in my work. The yarns were hand-dyed using a technique I call “vocal dyeing,” which gives them a distinctive, subtle color – much like the feeling Svinkløv itself evokes.
